PPF discussion paper released by Treasury
The Treasury yesterday released a discussion paper, ‘Improving the integrity of Prescribed Private Funds (PPFs)‘ and is calling for comments to be provided by 14 January 2009.
Philanthropy Australia is reviewing the paper and considering a response. An opportunity for Philanthropy Australia Members to give feedback on the discussion paper will be held in Sydney on December 9, 2008. David Ward, the author of the Trustee Handbook and the facilitator of the Trustee Workshops, will be available to talk to members about the discussion paper and its implications.
